Thanksgiving Feast at Hurricane Hauling & Demolition, Inc.

The employees of Hurricane gathered around a candlelit table with a 16 pound steaming turkey, kale mashed potatoes, gluten free stuffing, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and chocolate mousse. It was an evening to recognize our fellow colleagues under one roof – and what better place to celebrate it than under the roof of our warehouse! Twenty-six people enjoyed the evening playing foosball and going back for second helpings while our resident dog, Mia, happily lapped up fallen crumbs. Gatherings like these are rare, but cherished. There’s never a day in the office here where a laugh isn’t shared and high-fives aren’t given.

We feel especially blessed that we are able to salvage many items that can help others who are less fortunate.  Between the employees’ contributions and clean items that come in, we donated four bulging bags of sleeping backs, sheets, towels, shoes, jackets, and warm clothes. The bags were brought to the Marin Interfaith Street Chaplaincy and the San Rafael Salvation Army to be distributed to Marin’s homeless population for the winter months.

Thank you to our loyal employees, customers, suppliers, and business contacts. And to our family and friends who get to experience the tailwinds after hours!
