Our deconstruction services are supported by Berkeley’s renowned sustainability resource hub.
November 1, 2013 – Hurricane Hauling and Demolition, Inc. is proud to announce our presence in The Ecology Center’s EcoDirectory as a certified green business offering environmentally-friendly services. The east bay Ecology Center is known as a beacon for a society facing environmental challenges and looking for positive ways to evolve and adapt. It’s a place where people go for reliable information, practical alternatives, and to connect with others to problem-solve. Both Hurricane and the Ecology Center envision a world where human activity nurtures the ecosystems that we all depend on — a world, especially, with zero waste, zero toxics and sustainable resource use.
The EcoDirectory that features Hurricane, is an online searchable directory of businesses and organizations that offer information or services related to environmental topics. Organizations, businesses, products and services are listed for the benefit of the Bay Area community to make informed decisions about the “green” companies they hire. Hurricane’s unique commitment to salvage through our deconstruction service and recycle through our other services, makes us the only Marin county company to do so in the directory:
